Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 4–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach The NONA Slice House at (727) 351-7570; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, thenonaslicehouse.com.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 2,736 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded pizza restaurants in Safety Harbor.

As someone visiting from New York City, I wasn’t expecting to find pizza that could actually compete with homeβ€”but The NONA Slice House completely blew me away. While vacationing near Clearwater Beach, I was craving a real high quality pizza and this place exceeded every expectation. Our waitress Sicily was pleasant and wonderful. She even informed us of a sister location near our home in NYC. The crust on the Detroit pie had a crunch of cheese had the perfect balance of crispness and chew, the sauce was flavorful and the tomatoes were fresh and delicious. I’ve had pizza all over New York, and I can honestly say this is the second best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The atmosphere was fun, the staff was friendly, and you can tell they truly care about what they’re serving. If you’re anywhere near Clearwater Beach, this place is absolutely worth the drive. This will be our go to when in Florida. PS: Get the cheesecake. The flavor of the day was cookie dough when we were visiting and it was a 10/10.

We went on a Saturday for lunch because we saw this on TikTok, As much as we want to like this place, we really cant. We are disappointed. First the garlic knots looks amazing but the moment you bite it feels like garlic punched you straight in the face, i mean the garlic in there is too overpowering that you can’t taste bread at all, is just way too much! I found the pizza is very dry we got the β€œstreet car” and added prosciutto. My husband is from Detroit and he said their deep dish Detroit pizza is dry too and crust is really crispy which we don’t like. The ambiance is nice tho but before we left a live cockroach πŸͺ³ running around said goodbye. We won’t be coming back. Price is expensive considering the quality of food and service we received. Not worth the hype.

This was our first time visiting The Nona Slice House and it was amazing. We drove all the way from Land O Lakes, FL. Definitely worth the one hour drive for a great pizza pie. The pizza dough was fabulous, the garlic knots were so soft and smothered in garlic. Yum! Make sure you leave room for their delicious cheesecakes. Our waiter Liam was very nice and the manager Leslie was incredibly sweet. Loved the vibe.

My husband and I had the best experience. We sat at the bar, Connor from the very beginning was incredible. I have worked and managed in hospitality for 20 years. If I was still managing restaurants I would try to get him to come work where I worked. He was so helpful with my gluten free questions, attentive, genuinely loved his job. As busy as he was he gave the best service we have had in a long time. I hope you all recognize just how lucky you are to have an employee like Connor. We need his schedule so we come back when he is there. We loved our food as well!
